Everything that comes after framing inherits whatever the framing got wrong. Walls out of plumb, floors out of level and openings out of square get more expensive at every single trade that follows.
Drywall, cabinets, trim, tile and flooring are all installed against what the framer left. A wall that is out of plumb by half an inch over eight feet is invisible until a kitchen goes against it. An opening that is out of square is a problem for the window installer, then the trim carpenter, then whoever has to explain the gap.
So the standard we hold on framing is not "it stands up." It is square, plumb, level and to the drawing, because that is what makes every subsequent trade cheaper and faster.
In this climate, the point of framing fast is to get the building closed in. Sheathing, housewrap, roof and windows are what stop a winter of freeze-thaw from getting into the structure. We frame with that date in mind and we will tell you at the quote stage whether your intended start actually gets you there.
Plenty of people here manage their own build and want a crew for the parts that need a crew. We will do the framing package and hand it over clean, with a clear scope so that nothing falls through the gap between us and your next trade.
The trade
The difference between adequate and good in this trade is almost never visible on handover day. It shows up in year three.

Questions
Yes. Townhouse rows, semis and three-storey walk-ups are a significant part of what we do, and several are in our project gallery.
Yes. Framing packages for owner-builders are normal for us. We will be explicit about where our scope ends so there is no gap between trades.
It depends on size, complexity and crew allocation, and weather is a real factor here. We will give you a realistic window with the quote rather than an optimistic one that slips.
