What we do
TMD Homes Inc offers four services: project management, framing, siding and finish. They are deliberately the four stages that most determine whether a build goes well — the schedule, the structure, the envelope and the part you look at every day.
You can take all four or any one of them. Developers often want framing and siding packages. Owner-builders often want framing plus management. People building from away usually want all of it.
Why those four together
Because the handoffs between them are where builds go wrong. A finish carpenter arriving at someone else's framing spends the first days working out what is out of square. A siding crew arriving at someone else's housewrap inherits whatever was lapped incorrectly. When the same company does the framing, the envelope and the finish, there is nobody to blame and nothing to discover.
Where we work
Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview, out through Memramcook, Salisbury and Sackville, and along the coast from Cap-Pelé through Shediac and Bouctouche up to Richibucto. That run covers two quite different building environments — a fast-growing inland market and an exposed coastline — and they are not the same job.
Working in both languages
A large part of our service area is strongly Acadian. Dieppe, Cap-Pelé, Bouctouche and Kent County business happens in French as often as English, and New Brunswick is the only officially bilingual province in the country. We work in both, on site and with clients.
The photographs on this site
Everything in the project gallery is ours. Slab and forms, wall panels going up, structures wrapped and closed in, siding going on over housewrap, mixed elevations with stone, a three-storey walk-up, garage-unit blocks, a commercial wood-slat frontage and a finished bathroom. That range is the business, and it is easier to show than to claim.
